Speaking at the award ceremony, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, said that Vietnam's external information work has gone through a long journey with many proud achievements.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia stated that foreign information work is identified as an important part of the Party's political, ideological and foreign affairs work, state diplomacy and people's diplomacy.
