Not yet having time to rest after the long flight from Oslo (Norway) to Hanoi , the band Secret Garden met the press on the morning of October 17 to share about their most special performance ever on the evening of October 18 at the National Convention Center, My Dinh, Hanoi.

The program “Secret Garden Live in Vietnam” is the 3rd concert within the framework of the international music project series for the community "Good Morning Vietnam" initiated and implemented by Nhan Dan Newspaper and IB Group Vietnam, after the success of 2 events “Kenny G Live in Vietnam” and “Bond Live in Vietnam.”

Not only is it a bridge to bring world- class music to domestic audiences, the Organizing Committee also wants to promote Vietnam's image to the world through MVs of international artists participating in the program.

Like previous years, all revenue from ticket sales for the concert will be used for charity purposes - a humanitarian purpose maintained by Nhan Dan Newspaper and IB Group Vietnam.

Unlike the event two years ago, when Kenny G and the band Bond performed in Vietnam, this is the first time for the legendary duo Secret Garden to perform in Vietnam. The concert “Secret Garden Live in Vietnam” is also the opening point for Secret Garden’s world tour to celebrate the band’s 30th anniversary this year.

Artist Rolf Løvland expressed his excitement to perform in Vietnam for the first time. When information about the tour was posted on his fanpage, the artist saw many Vietnamese audiences commenting, sending greetings and expressing their love for Secret Garden's music.

“It is that warm affection that makes us feel a special connection with the Vietnamese audience, even though we have never met them. Vietnam brings us a very special inspiration, and we hope to repay that affection with profound and memorable performances,” the artist expressed.

He also revealed that, after the show in Hanoi, Secret Garden will continue their tour in major cities in China before returning to Norway, but Vietnam was chosen as the opening point for the 30th anniversary tour because the group "felt the warm affection and passion for music of the Vietnamese audience."

Answering a question from VietnamPlus Electronic Newspaper, artist Fionnuala Sherry hopes that through her music, Vietnamese audiences will find relaxation and peace of mind.

“Modern life is busy, many people focus on electronic devices and social networks. I hope the audience can find peace in their souls and music will easily bring them to that peace,” the artist shared.

The Organizing Committee said that Secret Garden's performance in Hanoi will follow a common format and meet international standards in terms of stage and sound. Secret Garden will bring a collection of works that have made their name, divided into three main themes: Nature; beautiful scenery, human relationships; culture. With a minimalist stage setting style, honoring the storytelling through sound, Vietnamese audiences will be led through a poetic journey of enjoyment.

From “wordless” melodies rich in imagery to hybrid classical, Nordic-Celtic folk songs, suitable for the sophisticated listening space of Vietnamese audiences during the autumn days in Hanoi./.

“Secret Garden Live in Vietnam” takes place at 7:30 p.m. on October 18 at the My Dinh National Convention Center, promising to be a night of music with many emotional levels on the Hanoi stage.
