Last weekend, Thanh Bui appeared at the introduction of the SIA Career Pathways model - the first professional multidisciplinary Arts education pathway in Vietnam. This pathway is for students aiming to develop their careers in the fields of Music, Dance and Visual Arts.
The male musician shared that the program is designed to provide Vietnamese students with an international standard art training system, integrating academic training - practice - career orientation - portfolio, with an international partner network of leading art academies.
From personal experience, Thanh Bui realizes that talent development is of interest in many countries. However, in Vietnam, not everyone who has talent has the opportunity to be trained and developed. Therefore, Thanh Bui's goal in education is to create the best conditions for students to approach their passion without being constrained by their parents' wishes.
The owner of the hit song “Where Love Comes From” also opened up about how to educate and guide children. He said he had talked to graduates who couldn’t find jobs, and discovered that many of them enrolled in school without a clear direction, just to please their families.

“When I guide my children, I still say that I don’t care about their scores, but whether they have tried their best, whether they have challenged themselves as much as possible. I teach my children to compare themselves with yesterday, not with anyone else,” Thanh Bui confided.
He added: “For me, my child’s score is not important. Whatever he wants to do, I support him 100%, as long as he always does it with all his heart and strength and inspires those around him. Know who you are. Because when you understand who you are, you will be happy, joyful and able to share love with everyone.”
Regarding SIA Career Pathways, Thanh Bui hopes this will be a roadmap to help students orient their artistic career development appropriately.
The program includes 3 levels: Art High School - College/University Preparation; International Art College and International Art Study Abroad (Global Articulation Pathway), supporting students to go to the US, UK... and prestigious art academies around the world .
In response to questions about accreditation, Thanh Bui affirmed that the program is professionally accredited according to international standards. The program also builds an ecosystem for students to have the opportunity to experience with experts, artists and the international environment. He believes that education will contribute to promoting the development of cultural and creative industries in Vietnam.
