Arrested 2 subjects buying, selling and transporting 120,000 synthetic drug pills

The Drug and Crime Prevention Department ( Dien Bien Provincial Border Guard) coordinated with PC04 Department (Dien Bien Provincial Police), Nam Po District Police, and two Border Guard Stations of Nam Ke and Si Pha Phin (Dien Bien Provincial Border Guard) to arrest two subjects for illegally buying, selling, and transporting drugs, with evidence of 120,000 synthetic drug pills.

Specifically, at about 7:15 p.m. on April 5, in the De Bua village area, Phin Ho commune, Nam Po district, Dien Bien province, the Working Group of the Drug and Crime Prevention Department (Dien Bien Provincial Border Guard) and the above units discovered and caught Thao A Gia, born in 2004, residing in Tram Pung village, Quang Lam commune, Muong Nhe district, Dien Bien province, transporting 120,000 synthetic drug pills for sale.

During the investigation, Thao A Gia confessed that he was hired by a man living in the same village named Lieu A Sua, born in 1998, to transport the above drugs from the Vietnam - Laos border area to De Bua village, Phin Ho commune, and handed over to an unidentified man for a salary of 11 million VND. Lieu A Sua went ahead as a pilot and lookout.

Expanding the investigation and pursuit, at 8:00 p.m. the same day, the authorities arrested Lieu A Sua while he was hiding in a ditch, on the edge of a hill near marker 66 of the Vietnam - Laos border.

The case is currently under investigation by the authorities.
