Major Ta Dinh Vien, Deputy Political Commissar of Binh Hai Border Guard Station, said that the unit has proactively coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to develop a storm response plan and mitigate damage. In addition, the Station has used internal communication systems and community watchtowers to connect and guide vehicles still operating at sea to urgently find safe shelters.

For small vessels such as coracles near the shore, the unit has assigned officers and soldiers to directly support the people. At the same time, mobile propaganda teams have been established to each residential area at risk of being affected by high tides, instructing people to reinforce their houses and proactively respond to storms.
