At Van Tuong commune , officers and soldiers of Binh Hai Border Guard Station ( Quang Ngai Border Guard) went down to the beach to help fishermen pull baskets, collect nets, tie fishing gear, and bring the vehicles safely ashore.
Fisherman Nguyen Bon (An Cuong village) shared: "Hearing that storm No. 13 is very strong, I was very worried so in the afternoon I brought all my baskets and nets ashore and did not dare go out to sea anymore."

Major Ta Dinh Vien, Deputy Political Commissar of Binh Hai Border Guard Station, said that the unit has proactively coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to develop a storm response plan and mitigate damage. In addition, the Station has used internal communication systems and community watchtowers to connect and guide vehicles still operating at sea to urgently find safe shelters.
For small vessels such as coracles near the shore, the unit has assigned officers and soldiers to directly support the people. At the same time, mobile propaganda teams have been established to each residential area at risk of being affected by high tides, instructing people to reinforce their houses and proactively respond to storms.









In Ly Son special zone, Ly Son Border Guard Station is actively informing and warning about the location, direction of movement and developments of storm Kalmaegi to 21 fishing boats with 288 fishermen operating in Truong Sa sea area, guiding people to leave the dangerous area and find safe shelter.
In addition, Ly Son border guards also deployed troops to ports and anchorages to support fishermen in securing and checking the safety of their boats.
