The first time I saw a sea of clouds was in 2017. Before that, I never thought that photos of fluffy clouds swirling over mountains could be real. I thought they were the product of photo manipulation or editing.
Since then, I've spent a lot of time traveling across my beloved S-shaped country with the goal of admiring the floating sea of clouds throughout the nation. There are places I've visited dozens of times just to see a breathtaking sunset, like Fansipan. There are places that look different each time I visit, like Da Lat. And of course, there are also places I've been to 5 or 6 times without ever catching a glimpse of the clouds, like Lang Son, Cao Bang, or Moc Chau...
This photo series, "Vietnam in Clouds," has been ongoing since 2018. I hope these images will inspire you and foster a love for the majestic beauty of our homeland, Vietnam.
