The bodykit named Group.B for Honda Civic Type R was introduced by Mugen at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2025 exhibition, focusing on design and performance, targeting customers who are passionate about speed and personality.

The exterior of the Civic Type R has changed significantly, with a sporty style with a front bumper integrated with a large spoiler, a hood with heat vents, GT3-style ventilated front fenders, extended side skirts...

The large rear wing and rear diffuser come with a single central exhaust. According to Mugen, the new details help increase downforce three times compared to the standard version, while reducing weight by 38 kg thanks to the use of carbon fiber.

The 2.0L turbocharged engine remains the same, the car is supplemented with a titanium exhaust that is nearly 9 kg lighter, capable of improving torque in the mid-range. In addition, Mugen also provides high-performance brakes to meet the needs of operating on the track.

The prices of the upgrade items range from 200,000 to 1,500,000 yen each, equivalent to between 1,300 and nearly 10,000 USD.

If you choose the entire accessory package from tuner Mugen, the total cost will be up to 9,630,000 yen, equivalent to about 62,500 USD (converted to 1.64 billion VND).

Meanwhile, the retail price of the Honda Civic Type R high-performance sports car in Japan ranges from 4,997,300 to 6,179,800 yen (US$32,500–40,100).

Thus, a new generation Honda Civic Type R, if fully equipped with "custom" accessories from Mugen, can reach the threshold of 100,000 USD, equivalent to 2.63 billion VND.

Mugen says the upgrade packages will be available in limited quantities starting in 2026, further cementing the Civic Type R's status as one of Japan's most popular performance hatchbacks.
