Tien Giang Provincial Military Command launches training in 2024

(ABO) On March 1, at Regiment 924, the Military Command (MC) of Tien Giang province held the 2024 training launch ceremony.

In 2024, the provincial Armed Forces will continue to train regular troops according to the motto "Basic - Practical - Solid", "Basic - Practical - Quality" for the Militia and Self-Defense Forces, thoroughly grasping 3 viewpoints, 8 principles, 6 combinations in training; focusing on synchronous and in-depth training, focusing on practice, proficiently using weapons and technical equipment, especially new technical equipment.

The provincial armed forces continue to organize comprehensive training in all conditions; strengthen night training, camouflage maneuvers, and diversions close to the mission, target, area, environment, and combat plan; actively apply information technology and digital transformation in training and troop management; innovate inspection methods at all levels, ensuring effectiveness; promote physical training and mass sports activities in agencies and units.

Organize defense area drills, disaster prevention and search and rescue drills, command and staff drills on one side, one level, two levels on a tight map, ensuring that the provincial military is always ready to fight and fight victoriously in all situations.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Pham Van Thanh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command acknowledged and commended the results achieved in the training work of agencies and units in 2023. At the same time, he requested that in the coming time, agencies and units need to focus on doing a good job of disseminating and seriously implementing local military and defense targets and tasks according to the resolution and the determined annual plan. Strengthen physical training and sports activities to improve endurance and mobility for soldiers, meeting requirements and tasks in all conditions. Closely combine agency building with discipline training; build a strong and comprehensive unit "Exemplary, typical".

On this occasion, the Provincial Military Command launched a high-level emulation campaign to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024) with the theme: "Following the footsteps of Dien Bien soldiers - Moving forward to win 3 first prizes". The emulation campaign will last from March 1 to May 7, 2024, focusing on emulation targets such as: Highest awareness, responsibility and determination; performing political tasks with the highest results and building discipline, law enforcement and strictest discipline.
