Da Nang Border Guard promptly rescued fishermen in distress at sea.

DNO - On the morning of September 11, the Da Nang City Border Guard Command said that the authorities promptly responded, brought the distressed sailor at sea safely ashore, and transferred him to the hospital for treatment.

Previously, at around 3:00 a.m. on September 11, the City Border Guard's Operations Command received information from the Da Nang Coastal Information Station and Son Tra Border Guard Station about the case of fisherman Nguyen Van Nam (48 years old, Son Tra ward), a crew member on fishing boat DNa 91308TS, vomiting continuously, in critical health condition while fishing in the sea area about 20 nautical miles northeast of Son Tra peninsula.

Receiving the information, the City Border Guard quickly coordinated with the Da Nang Coastal Information Station to connect the ship with the 115 Emergency Center for medical advice.

At the same time, ship BP 08-98-01 was mobilized with 8 officers and soldiers of the Border Guard Squadron 2 in Son Tra and staff of the 115 Emergency Center in Da Nang to assist the distressed crew member.

At around 5:30 a.m. the same day, the Border Guard force approached the fishing boat, provided first aid and brought crew member Nguyen Van Nam back to the mainland. At 7:00 a.m., the BP 08-98-01 ship arrived at Stone Construction Station 15 (Son Tra Border Guard Station) and transferred the victim for treatment.
