Appointment of Director of Department of Education and Training of Thai Binh province after nearly half a year of "vacancy" in position

(NLDO)- Nearly 6 months after the Director of the Department of Education and Training of Thai Binh province was dismissed, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha, Deputy Director of the Department, was recently appointed to this position.

On the morning of March 3, the Department of Education and Training of Thai Binh province held a conference to announce the decision on personnel work. Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Thai Binh province, was appointed to the position of Director of the Department.

Chairman of Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Hung presented the decision and flowers to congratulate the new Director of the Department of Education and Training Nguyen Ngoc Ha.

Chairman of Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Hung commented that Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha is a well-trained cadre, matured from the grassroots, experienced many working positions from teacher, Vice Principal, Principal of Quynh Coi High School. In October 2021, Mr. Ha was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training. In all positions, Mr. Ha always has a scientific , democratic working method, close to the grassroots, completed the assigned tasks well, and made important contributions to the education and training career of the province.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province requested the Department of Education and Training and the new Director of the Department to focus on studying the policies and regulations of the Party and the State on education and the province's practices, promptly advising the Provincial People's Committee to implement Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW on "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient"; develop a project to reorganize the apparatus to ensure "Streamlined - compact - strong - effective - efficient - effective", in which the departments under the Department are arranged after receiving the vocational education sector from the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; review and arrange the network of educational institutions of the province after completing the arrangement of commune-level administrative units for the period 2023-2025 and the period 2026-2030; Focus on effectively implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation...

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province also requested the leaders and all officials, civil servants and public employees of the education and training sector to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, build and support Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha in leadership and direction, overcome all difficulties, and successfully carry out assigned tasks.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha, the new Director of the Department of Education and Training of Thai Binh province, affirmed to continue to improve his spirit, responsibility, determination, efforts, and strive to complete all assigned tasks in his new position.

Previously, after the incident of misreading and distorting the scores of nearly 1,600 students in the 10th grade High School Entrance Exam for the 2024-2025 school year, based on the inspection results, in September 2024, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province issued disciplinary decisions against the leaders and managers of the Department of Education and Training of the province; in which, the disciplinary action was to dismiss Mr. Nguyen Viet Hien, Director of the Department of Education and Training.
