Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long, 61 years old, from Sam Son city, Thanh Hoa province, PhD in Law. He is a member of the Party Central Committee, 12th and 13th terms; a National Assembly delegate, 14th and 15th terms.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Azerbaijan (former Soviet Union), Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long began his career as a specialist at the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Justice. He then held various positions at the Ministry of Justice, such as Secretary to the Minister, Director of the Department of General Lawmaking Issues, and Deputy Minister of Justice.
From March 2014 to October 2015, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long served as Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee. From April 2016 to present, he has served as Secretary of the Party Committee and Minister of Justice.
