The first basic football analysis class of VFF opened on the morning of April 26, at the federation headquarters.
The lecturers include Japanese experts (Koshida Takeshi, Yutaka Ikeuchi), and the Vietnam team's analyst (Nguyen Anh Tuan).
The students in the first class included many retired former players who are now assistants at V-League and First Division clubs. This is considered a new turning point in the coaching and competition organization of Vietnamese football.
"World football has changed deeply and widely in the past 20 years. Top clubs and national teams have applied modern science and technology to maximize operational efficiency in order to achieve victory. Vietnamese football cannot be left out.
Therefore, during the past time, VFF has urgently organized and established a modern football analysis room. This class is the first step to equip students with basic knowledge of match analysis at the highest level. Through that, students will help their coaches and clubs have the best preparation in training, monitoring and managing players," VFF General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu shared.
According to Mr. Phu, in recent years, Vietnamese professional football has seen the appearance of analysts at clubs. However, the role of analysis is currently not uniform. "This course will help students from the V-League and the First Division approach the requirements of modern football at a higher level," said the VFF general secretary.
VFF's basic analysis class takes place from April 26 to 29.
