Diễn viên Huyền Lizzie và Huỳnh Anh cùng góp mặt với vai trò là khách mời trong tập 118.
Actresses Huyen Lizzie and Huynh Anh appeared as guests in episode 118.

In this episode, hosted by MC Dai Nghia, with the participation of two guests, actor Huynh Anh and actress Huyen Lizzie, the artists joined hands to overcome challenges to bring home valuable prizes to help three orphaned children: Nguyen Thi Thu Uyen (15 years old), Vu Thi Hong Bich (15 years old) and Nguyen Thi Yen (15 years old).

Actor Huynh Anh shared: “The tradition of the Vietnamese people is to 'help each other' and I feel very honored to be able to participate in the Vietnamese Family Home. I hope that through the program, I can contribute some of my strength to help children have more motivation to overcome difficulties in life. For me, when life gives me bad luck, the remaining thing is that I need to make an effort to overcome those bad lucks” . The actor hopes that his participation can contribute to inspiring the efforts and determination to overcome difficulties for orphaned children.

Actress Huyen Lizzie said that Vietnamese Family Home is a meaningful program, the circumstances that come to the program make her unable to hold back her tears every time she witnesses them. “The children in the program are all orphans, lacking parental love is an extremely disadvantaged thing in life. I hope that my efforts and Huynh Anh's today can somehow help the children overcome difficulties as well as have more motivation to continue studying and developing in the future,” the actress added.

Among the characters this week, Vu Thi Hong Bich 's situation makes many people feel sorry. Hong Bich was born in 2009 and is studying at Hoa Lu A High School, Hoa Lu District, Ninh Binh Province. She lacked a complete family since she was very young.

When Hong Bich was 8 months old, her parents divorced. Hong Bich and her older sister lived with their father, while her triplets lived with their mother. Not long after, her mother became mentally ill and stayed at her maternal grandparents' house, unable to work to support her children. At this time, Hong Bich's four sisters were reunited.

Ironically, Hong Bich's father died in September 2024 due to many illnesses such as diabetes, kidney failure, pneumonia and neurological diseases. Just 17 days later, the person who took care of the children, their grandfather, also passed away. Their mother suffered from mental illness and could not take care of the children. Since then, the four Hong Bich sisters have only known how to depend on each other.

Bich's eldest sister, Vu Thi Loan (2002), once dreamed of becoming a doctor, but due to difficult family circumstances, she dropped out of school in the 9th grade. Currently, Loan works at a leather shoe company, 10km from home. Loan works from 7am to 9pm, earning about 6 million VND/month. All living expenses in the family currently depend on Loan's income alone. There are days when the family runs out of food, Loan buys 5,000 VND of pork fat, boils it and eats it with rice to get through the meal. The image of the eldest sister, just over 20 years old, struggling to earn money to raise 3 younger siblings makes everyone feel sorry.

The image of four orphan girls holding hands at the Vietnamese Family Home program moved the artists deeply. Actress Huyen Lizzie choked up when she saw the Hong Bich sisters taking care of and relying on each other. The meal with lard of the four sisters made the actress cry. She wiped away her tears and continuously comforted and encouraged the children.

MC Dai Nghia also felt sorry for the four Hong Bich sisters who had gone through so many misfortunes. They had lost their father and grandfather continuously, and their mother was sick so she could not take care of them and they had to rely on each other, making the MC worried. “It was really difficult, with Loan's income of about 6 million VND/month, she had to take care of so many things. And the four sisters lived together like that, not knowing what tomorrow would bring. Loan was only 22 years old, because of the burden of her family, she had to drop out of school, give up her dream of becoming a doctor to go to work, and take care of her siblings alone, which made me feel very sorry for her,” MC Dai Nghia confided.

The next case is Nguyen Thi Yen (2009), studying at the Center for Continuing Education and Vocational Training in Thanh Liem District, Ha Nam Province. Yen's father suffered from kidney failure and passed away in 2023. Currently, Yen lives with her mother, older sister and younger sister.

Yen's mother is Ms. Ngo Thi Hanh (1980). Ms. Hanh is suffering from many diseases such as herniated disc, anemia, spinal pain, bronchitis, gastritis, and duodenitis. Despite her poor health, Ms. Hanh still tries to work as a textile worker to earn money to raise her children. However, because of many diseases, she cannot work regularly, sometimes she also does farming to earn extra money. All the burdens of the family fall on her shoulders, causing Ms. Hanh's health to deteriorate more and more.

What makes everyone admire the most in the family is that all three Yen sisters are able to go to school. The older sister is a university student in Hanoi . Yen and her younger sister are also going to school every day. Seeing their mother working hard, the three sisters know how to advise each other, take the initiative to do housework, cook,... to help their mother in some way. Yen's mother's current wish is that all three children can complete their education completely.

Actor Huynh Anh expressed his admiration when hearing Nguyen Thi Yen's mother say, "No matter how hard I work, as long as my three children can get an education, I will be at ease." The actor encouraged the characters and encouraged his older sister to try to finish college to find a stable job in the future.

MC Dai Nghia emotionally said: “Yen’s mother is a very strong-willed woman. Even though she was very sick and in a lot of pain, she did not dare tell her children because she was afraid that they would worry and neglect their studies, afraid that they would drop out of school. Yen was also very understanding when she temporarily stopped going to school to give her sister a place in university. Even though she was studying at the Center for Continuing Education, she still tried her best to study, which is very admirable.”

Like her senior, Huyen Lizzie could not hold back her tears when she saw the house full of women, a sick mother and young children living in poverty. The actress expressed her concern and worry for the health of Yen's mother as well as her wish that Yen's three sisters continue to have the opportunity to study properly.

The remaining situation is Nguyen Thi Thu Uyen (2009), a student at Yen Khanh A High School, Yen Khanh District, Ninh Binh Province. Thu Uyen is living with her mother and brother. Her situation is very special, her father died in 2010 due to a traffic accident, her mother has coronary artery disease and a herniated disc. Her brother also has heart disease, mitral valve regurgitation since childhood. Now Thu Uyen is the only healthy person in the family.

Despite her illness, Thu Uyen's mother, Dinh Thi Theu (1985), still tries to work to earn money to raise her children. Thu Uyen's brother, Nguyen Duc Hiep (2004), overcame his illness to study and is currently a third-year university student. The resilience of all three mother and son makes many people admire them.

Witnessing the difficult circumstances of the three families made the two guests even more determined to overcome the challenges to bring home valuable prizes for the children. Within 1 minute and 30 seconds of the sub-competition, actor Huynh Anh and actress Huyen Lizzie had to complete the balloon transport challenge. Specifically, the two guests used 2 strings to hold the balloons, go through obstacles to bring the balloons to the finish line. This challenge does not require much physical strength but requires the technique of holding the balloons as well as the ability to move flexibly and quickly to save time. At first, Huynh Anh and Huyen Lizzie decided to hold the balloons with strings, but the movement caused the strings to slacken, and the sudden winds made the balloons fly up. The two artists decided to change tactics, not holding the balloons but using the strings to lift the balloons up and then pushing the balloons to the finish line smoothly.

In the main competition, actress Huynh Anh and actress Huyen Lizzie took turns coordinating with the children to perform the challenge of bringing 20 balls to the finish line. Accordingly, the players took the ball at the starting line, walked over the seesaw and then crawled through the obstacle to throw the ball to the finish line. The journey of bringing the ball over the obstacle was not too difficult but required a lot of physical strength. However, the most difficult step was still throwing the ball to the finish line. Because of having to run continuously, leading to fatigue, many times the artists threw the ball and missed. However, as soon as they regained their concentration, Huynh Anh and Huyen Lizzie quickly regained their form and completed the challenges.

In addition, MC Dai Nghia donated 5 million VND to each family. Actress Huyen Lizzie also donated 4 million VND to Hong Bich's family and 3 million VND to the other 2 families. Actor Huynh Anh also gave the children a special gift.

In addition, the sponsors who came to watch directly gave the families a total amount of nearly 50 million VND. Thus, with the support of MC Dai Nghia, actor Huynh Anh and actress Huyen Lizzie, and the best efforts of the three families, they brought home a total prize of 105 million VND from Hoa Sen Group along with many meaningful gifts.
