(NLĐO) - The "Reunion Bus" of Saigon University is a meaningful gift to share the spirit of spring, thereby encouraging young people in their studies and training.
On the morning of January 19th, a farewell ceremony for students participating in the "Reunion Bus Trip" program, supporting disadvantaged students to return home for the Lunar New Year - Year of the Snake 2025, took place at the main campus of Saigon University.
This is a practical activity to support disadvantaged students, especially those from disaster-affected areas and remote regions studying at Saigon University, so they can return home to celebrate Lunar New Year with their families.

The program demonstrates the concern of the Party Committee - Board of Directors of the school, the Youth Union - Student Association, the staff, faculty, and students of the school for students in difficult circumstances.
The cultural performances were presented by the Faculty and Staff Union of Saigon University.

Ms. Le Thi Viet Kieu – Secretary of Student Branch 4, Secretary of the Youth Union, and Head of the Program Organizing Committee – reported on the results of the "Youth Union Member's Bus Trip" program in 2025.
Vo Thi Thuy, a first-year Information Technology student, expressed her gratitude to her teachers and benefactors for being able to participate in the program.
Associate Professor Pham Hoang Quan, Rector of Saigon University, kindly gave advice to the students.
Accompanying the students on these charitable bus trips are teachers and members of the Youth Union of the Staff and Faculty. Notably, one person who has been a long-time companion on these volunteer bus trips, the longest route in the journey, is Mr. Hoang Huu Luong, former Party Secretary and former Vice Principal of the school.
Mr. Hoang Huu Luong – former Party Secretary and former Vice Principal of the school – along with volunteers will take students all the way home.
Besides providing tickets and organizing transportation for underprivileged students to return home for Tet (Lunar New Year), the Organizing Committee also prepared Tet gifts and a lucky money envelope worth 500,000 VND for the students.
These gifts embody the sharing, love, and encouragement of the Party Committee and Board of Directors of the school, the Youth Union and Student Association, the esteemed teachers and all staff and employees of the school, along with the generosity of many benefactors.
The joy of returning home.
Notably, this year the school not only arranged transportation to and from school but also provided transportation to pick up students returning to enroll after the Lunar New Year.
