According to the plan, Ca Mau province aims to strengthen propaganda efforts and raise awareness throughout society about the significance of Consumer Rights Day; while also encouraging businesses to sell goods and services that are of high quality, safe, and compliant with regulations. The theme for Vietnam Consumer Rights Day 2026 is: "Information Security – Building Trust – Sustainable Consumption," reflecting the need to strengthen consumer rights protection in the context of increasingly developing digital transactions and e-commerce.
Activities in response to the campaign will be organized throughout 2026, focusing on the peak month of March 2026. The Department of Industry and Trade will chair a conference on March 15, 2026, to evaluate the results of tasks in 2025, implement tasks for 2026, and launch the campaign for Consumer Rights Day. The conference will also provide in-depth updates on topics such as protecting vulnerable consumers, safe online transactions, and resolving complaints and disputes in the buying and selling of goods and services.
In addition, visual propaganda work will be implemented synchronously from the provincial level to the grassroots. Departments, agencies, and People's Committees of communes and wards will organize the hanging of banners and slogans at their headquarters, commercial centers, markets, and main roads; and will also deploy mobile propaganda vehicles from March 10th to March 20th, 2026, with the peak period from March 14th to 16th, 2026. Localities are also required to organize launching conferences and intensify propaganda through the radio broadcasting system.
Alongside the celebratory activities, Ca Mau province also focuses on regular activities throughout 2026 such as organizing training for mediation officers; distributing promotional materials; implementing the "Businesses for Consumers" program; receiving and resolving consumer complaints; and strengthening quality control of goods, especially in the areas of food safety, measurement, and health .
The plan also clearly assigns responsibilities to departments, localities, and businesses to ensure that the activities in response are implemented effectively, contributing to enhancing consumer confidence and promoting the sustainable development of the goods and services market in the province.
