From the beginning of the year, the Department issued a series of documents to implement the program, and other directives from higher authorities were also fully disseminated to all units, ensuring that all officials, civil servants, and employees understood their responsibilities and complied with regulations on occupational safety and hygiene.
Simultaneously, propaganda work was carried out through various flexible forms, such as posting information on the Department's website, sending documents via the iOffice system, disseminating information at professional meetings, and party branch activities. The content of the propaganda focused on legal regulations on occupational safety, disease prevention, the significance of the Action Month and International Labor Day on May 1st, helping workers improve their awareness and skills in preventing accidents and occupational diseases.
The Department also implemented activities in response to the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health and reported the results in Report No. 445/BC-SNNMT dated June 23, 2025. Professional staff, during the performance of their duties, actively advised on measures to improve working conditions for small businesses, cooperatives, craft villages, and households engaged in high-risk industries. At the same time, the Department supported the application of occupational safety management systems for high-risk production facilities to gradually foster a culture of safe working conditions in the locality.
Thanks to decisive leadership and the proactive efforts of all civil servants and employees, the Department of Agriculture and Environment experienced no work-related accidents or occupational diseases in 2025. This result demonstrates the practical effectiveness of the program and reflects a significant improvement in the awareness and responsibility of the workers.
With the positive results achieved, the Department of Agriculture and Environment continues to identify occupational safety and health as a key and ongoing task to protect the health and lives of workers, contributing to building a safe, sustainable, and efficient working environment throughout the industry.
