According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from early morning to night of June 4, in the Northwest, Northern Delta and North Central regions, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain in some places with rainfall of 10-30 mm, and locally over 70 mm.

In the afternoon and evening of June 4, the Central Highlands and the South will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain in some places with rainfall of 10-30 mm, and locally over 70 mm. Warning of the risk of heavy rain with over 60 mm/2 hours.

During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rain can cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas. Warning level of natural disaster risk due to tornadoes, lightning, hail: level 1.

In particular, the provinces of Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang , Son La, Yen Bai, Thanh Hoa and Hoa Binh will have rain, with some places experiencing moderate to heavy rain. It is forecasted that on the morning of June 4, the areas of the above provinces will continue to have rain with accumulated rainfall ranging from 15-40 mm, with some places over 70 mm. This poses a risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams, and landslides on steep slopes in the above provinces.

Flash floods and landslides can have very negative impacts on the environment, threaten people's lives; cause local traffic congestion, affect the movement of vehicles; destroy civil and economic works, causing damage to production and socio-economic activities.

At sea, the northern sea area of ​​the North East Sea; the eastern sea area of ​​the central East Sea; the southern East Sea area (including Truong Sa archipelago); the sea area from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau, Ca Mau to Kien Giang and the Gulf of Thailand continue to have scattered showers and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, strong gusts of wind level 6 - 7, and waves over 2.5 m high.

Thanh Hoa to Hue

- Sunny during the day, hot in some places in the South; scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night in the North, scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places in the South. During thunderstorms, beware of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

- Lowest temperature from 26-29 degrees Celsius; highest from 31-34 degrees Celsius, in the South some places above 35 degrees Celsius.

Area from Da Nang to Binh Thuan

- Sunny day, hot in some places; showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night. Southwest wind level 2-3. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

- Lowest temperature from 25-28 degrees Celsius; highest from 32-35 degrees Celsius, some places above 35 degrees Celsius.

Central Highlands

Southern Vietnam
