During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rain can cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas. Warning level of natural disaster risk due to tornadoes, lightning, hail: level 1.
In particular, the provinces of Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang , Son La, Yen Bai, Thanh Hoa and Hoa Binh will have rain, with some places experiencing moderate to heavy rain. It is forecasted that on the morning of June 4, the areas of the above provinces will continue to have rain with accumulated rainfall ranging from 15-40 mm, with some places over 70 mm. This poses a risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams, and landslides on steep slopes in the above provinces.

At sea, the northern sea area of the North East Sea; the eastern sea area of the central East Sea; the southern East Sea area (including Truong Sa archipelago); the sea area from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau, Ca Mau to Kien Giang and the Gulf of Thailand continue to have scattered showers and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, strong gusts of wind level 6 - 7, and waves over 2.5 m high.
