A very large whale suddenly appeared, somersaulting and hunting in the coastal waters of Vinh Tan (Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province).

At around 8:00 a.m. on May 28, many people were surprised to discover a very large whale swimming into the coastal waters of Vinh Tan.

The whale area appeared near the coal import port of Vinh Tan 2 Thermal Power Plant, part of Vinh Tan Power Center (Binh Thuan province).

According to some locals, this whale is very large, constantly surfacing and diving to hunt for prey. Witnessing this rare sight, many people used their phones to record this moment.

The whale continued to hunt for about 30 minutes, then left.

Mr. Huynh Quang Huy, Head of the Fisheries Department of Binh Thuan province, said that according to the beliefs of coastal fishermen, the appearance of whales near the shore signals a bumper seafood fishing season.

According to science , due to the appearance of schools of pelagic fish migrating from offshore in the coastal sea area, whales follow the schools of fish to hunt. The appearance of whales also shows that coastal seafood resources are improving and becoming more abundant.

Previously, on May 21, also in the sea of ​​Tuy Phong district, a large whale appeared hunting, attracting the attention of people.
