In addition to launching fundraising campaigns, the Central Office of the Vietnam Journalists Association directed its units to implement measures, including connecting social resources through the Vietnam Journalists Association's online portal to participate in support efforts, and coordinating with local Journalists Associations to assist people in overcoming the damage caused by Typhoon No. 3.
After gathering information on the difficulties and support needs of local Journalists' Associations, the Central Office of the Vietnam Journalists' Association allocated essential supplies to the affected areas. These supplies included rice, drinking water, and daily food items, all transported through the "Free Transportation Bridge for Relief Goods to People in Storm and Flood-Affected Areas" program of Giao Thong Newspaper.

Responding to the call from the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, the Newspaper of Journalists and Public Opinion, in coordination with various units and benefactors, delivered essential gifts to flood-affected residents in Yen Son district. Officials and members of the Newspaper of Journalists and Public Opinion also went directly to the affected areas to deliver gifts to families severely damaged by the natural disaster in Chiem Hoa district...
Essential food items sent to flood victims include: 200 cartons of canned milk, 35 cartons of dried food rations, 200 cartons of instant noodles, 100 cartons of sausages, 200 cartons of TH mineral water, 300 sticky rice cakes (bánh chưng), 20 cartons of rice cakes, 200 flashlights, and many other necessities. These simple gifts represent the heartfelt sentiments of each staff member of the Journalists and Public Opinion Newspaper, carrying the hope of warming the hearts of those in difficult circumstances and in flood-affected areas, and encouraging them to overcome their current hardships.
Along with other localities nationwide, in recent days, millions of journalists at all levels across the country have turned their attention to the provinces and cities in the North. In Quang Tri province, since learning of Typhoon No. 3 and its aftermath, which caused immense damage to people and property in the northern provinces, media outlets in Quang Tri have continuously published information about the damage caused by the natural disaster in the North. These articles aim to promptly convey the situation of the floods to readers, thereby spreading the spirit of mutual support, sharing, and assistance from the people of Quang Tri to the people of the northern provinces affected by the natural disaster.
In particular, immediately after the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association called on all levels of the Journalists Association, press agencies, and journalists nationwide, the Quang Tri Provincial Journalists Association organized a fundraising campaign among its branches and members.

Journalist Truong Duc Minh Tu - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper, and Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association - emphasized that for a long time, whenever Quang Tri was affected by natural disasters, people nationwide always turned their attention to Quang Tri and the Central region. This time, when the people of the northern provinces unfortunately faced natural disasters, the people of Quang Tri in general, and the journalists of Quang Tri in particular, with their feelings, responsibility, and compassion, wished to contribute alongside their compatriots nationwide to help the people in the flood-stricken areas overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives as soon as possible.

In Kien Giang province, despite being located near the southernmost tip of Vietnam, journalists have been actively involved in disseminating information about the storm situation in the North. The province's media outlets consider this a way to provide strong support to the people, calling for collective efforts to overcome difficulties. In each news article, Kien Giang journalists include content reflecting the urgent and necessary support needed at that particular time.
Journalist Doan Hong Phuc, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Kien Giang Provincial Journalists Association, said: "Since receiving the directive from the Vietnam Journalists Association and the official letter from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, many colleagues and friends working in agencies and businesses have called the Provincial Journalists Association to ask about the most appropriate and quickest ways to support the cause. Some businesses have donated money and goods through the Provincial Journalists Association."
With the involvement of the Kien Giang Provincial Journalists Association, the branches also mobilized their members, all demonstrating a spirit of mutual support and compassion. Everyone wanted to contribute a small part to supporting their fellow countrymen. Despite the geographical distance, the bonds of brotherhood remained strong.

Just like before, when our compatriots in the South faced many difficulties due to floods and natural disasters, our compatriots in the North provided enthusiastic support. Now, if our compatriots in the North are facing difficulties, our compatriots in the South are ready to help. Everyone shares the spirit of working together to help our compatriots in the North overcome the aftermath of the storm," journalist Doan Hong Phuc shared.
At the Voice of Vietnam Radio, after a period of campaigning, journalist Dong Manh Hung – Head of the Editorial Secretariat, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Radio Journalists' Association – along with his colleagues, directly donated money and essential supplies to support people in need affected by floods in Trang Dinh district, Lang Son province.
Journalist Dong Manh Hung shared: "Given the damage and losses suffered by the people, we hope that the funds and goods provided by news agencies and media outlets, in coordination with some businesses, organizations, and philanthropists, will be quickly distributed to the flood-affected people. During the recovery process, news agencies and media outlets will continue to accompany and support local people in stabilizing their lives as soon as possible."
On September 17th, acting on behalf of the Vietnam Journalists Association, the Cao Bang Provincial Journalists Association, in coordination with Cao Bang Youth Ready-Mix Concrete Company Limited, distributed essential supplies and money to students at Ca Thanh Kindergarten, Primary School, and Ca Thanh Ethnic Boarding Secondary School (Nguyen Binh District) who were affected by Typhoon No. 3.
The delegation offered words of encouragement to the students severely affected by the recent floods. They also donated 100 sets of new clothes to the children at Ca Thanh Kindergarten and Primary School; 100 T-shirts to secondary school students; 50 packets of dried food; 4 cartons of milk to students; and provided financial assistance of 2 million VND to each of the 5 families who unfortunately lost loved ones in the landslide. The support was provided by the Vietnam Journalists Association.
