Provincial leaders congratulated the Provincial Women's Union on International Women's Day, March 8th.

To commemorate the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8th) and the 1984th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising, on the afternoon of March 6th, comrades Lai The Nguyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Pham Thi Thanh Thuy, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, and Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Dau Thanh Tung, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Head of the Provincial Committee for the Advancement of Women, along with representatives from various provincial departments and agencies, visited and congratulated the officials and staff of the Provincial Women's Union.

On behalf of the provincial leadership, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Lai The Nguyen, extended congratulations to all cadres, members, and women in the province on International Women's Day, March 8th. He also acknowledged and praised the efforts of the Provincial Women's Union and its cadres and members of all ethnic groups in the province for their significant contributions in all fields, while also fulfilling their roles as women in the family.

The comrade highly appreciated the women's associations at all levels for organizing emulation movements and campaigns that contributed to building new rural areas and civilized urban areas; paying attention to carrying out humanitarian and charitable activities, caring for the lives of members, disadvantaged women, and orphans.

The comrade expressed his wish that the Provincial Women's Union would continue to uphold the traditions of the heroic women of Ba Trieu's homeland and build upon the achievements of the past, strengthen solidarity and cohesion, effectively implement the tasks set forth in the Resolutions of the Women's Congress at all levels; do well in emulation movements, research more movements suitable to the local characteristics, have many programs and activities directed towards the grassroots, support members in all aspects; and strive to always be a leading force in the national women's movement. Women in each Women's Union organization from the provincial to the grassroots level must truly share, unite, love and support each other in work and life...

Thanking the provincial leaders for their attention and support, the Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union, Ngo Thi Hong Hao, summarized some outstanding achievements in the activities of women's unions at all levels in the province and reported on the key tasks and main targets for 2024. She also expressed the determination of cadres, members, and women at all levels in the province to effectively implement the Resolution of the Women's Congress at all levels for the 2021-2026 term.
