Mr. Cao Van Cuong and Mr. Le Quang Hung were appointed as Vice Chairmen of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee.

On November 3, the Standing Committee of the 18th Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Council held the 35th session to review, discuss and resolve a number of important contents under its authority.

Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Doan Anh stated: This is a very important thematic meeting, taking place right after the 20th Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, which was successfully held. The entire Provincial Party Committee is urgently implementing the Congress Resolution with new determination and spirit. At the same time, the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly is also taking place, focusing on reviewing and deciding many important issues of the country.

At this session, the Provincial People's Council considered the resolution to complete the personnel of the Provincial People's Council and Provincial People's Committee after the 20th Provincial Party Congress, including electing a number of additional leadership positions, including: 02 Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee; 04 members of the Provincial People's Committee who are Directors of the Departments: Industry and Trade; Construction; Culture - Sports and Tourism; Health ; 02 Heads of the Provincial People's Council including: Head of the Legal Committee and Head of the Ethnic Committee.

At the meeting, delegates listened to the leaders of the Provincial People's Council Committees report on the examination of the submissions of the Provincial People's Committee to the Provincial People's Council at the meeting; listened to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee present a report on the introduction of personnel for the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, to elect additional positions of Vice Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee; a report on the proposal to approve the resignation of the position of Member of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, term 2021-2026. The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council introduced the election of the Head of the Legal Committee and the Head of the Ethnic Committee of the Provincial People's Council.

The delegates of the Provincial People's Council elected comrade Le Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Finance and comrade Cao Van Cuong, member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, term 2021-2026; elected additional members of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, term 2021-2026 for Mr. Nguyen Tien Hieu, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade; Le Van Trung, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Le Van Cuong, Director of the Department of Health; Hoang Van Dong, Director of the Department of Construction. The Provincial People's Council also elected Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hai to hold the position of Head of the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council, term XVIII; Luong Tien Thanh to hold the position of Head of the Ethnic Minorities Committee of the Provincial People's Council, term XVIII.

Mr. Cao Van Cuong, Master of Forestry, born in 1975, hometown Hoang Giang commune, Hoang Hoa district (old), Thanh Hoa province. Before being elected as Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Cuong had held the following positions: Director of Pu Luong Nature Reserve Management Board, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of Muong Lat District People's Committee (old); Deputy Director, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Thanh Hoa province.
