At 3:00 p.m. on May 12, after many hours of searching, authorities and local people found the body of a young man who jumped into the Ca Ty River.

Earlier that morning, Mr. LVS (born in 2001, from Thanh Hoa province) argued with his girlfriend at a rented room in Phan Thiet city ( Binh Thuan province).

After the argument, Mr. S. drove his motorbike to Ca Ty bridge (Phan Thiet city) and jumped into Ca Ty river and disappeared. Mr. S.'s girlfriend ran after him to hold him back but it was too late.

Upon receiving the information, rescue forces and people dived to search, but due to high and fast river water, there were no results.

After many hours of searching, authorities found the body of a young man who jumped into the river.

In the afternoon of the same day, when the tide receded, the forces continued to search and discovered Mr. S's body a few dozen meters from Ca Ty bridge.

Binh Thuan Provincial Police performed an autopsy and handed over Mr. S's body to his family for funeral arrangements.
