The delegation surveyed the Project "Application of technology in preserving and processing avocado on an industrial scale in Dak Lak " at Hoa Phu Industrial Park.
The project is implemented by An Phu Food Joint Stock Company (under An Thai Group) from 2018 - 2021; with a total cost of 10.5 billion VND, of which the Central Science and Technology budget is 3.85 billion VND, and other sources are 6.65 billion VND.

The project's goal is to successfully apply new, advanced technologies to build an industrial-scale avocado preservation and processing model, creating high-value products, helping to distribute and consume fresh avocados and avocado products over a long period of time. From there, gradually support the output of fruit products, solve seasonal problems, and meet the crop conversion orientation of Dak Lak province.
Also in the morning, the delegation surveyed the model of the research project "Identifying genetic resources and developing chicken breed production of local people in Dak Lak province" in Khanh Xuan ward, chaired by Tay Nguyen University. The project implementation period is from April 2022 to May 2024, with a total budget of nearly 700 million VND from the state budget.

The objective of the project is to assess the current status of chicken farming among ethnic minorities in Dak Lak, identify the genetic resources of indigenous chickens and build a suitable model for developing chicken breed production. This is to preserve and promote the value of local chicken breeds, while increasing people's income.
During the survey, members of the delegation discussed and noted recommendations from implementing units on difficulties and problems in the process of implementing topics and projects such as: limited investment funding for projects and scientific research topics; difficulties in solving interdisciplinary problems; funding to maintain and promote replication of models and production processes has not been invested...

Deputy Head of the Culture - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council Y Car Enuol emphasized: supervising the acceptance, application of scientific topics and implementing Decision No. 1747/QD-TTg, dated October 13, 2015 of the Prime Minister on approving the program to support the application and transfer of scientific and technological advances to promote economic and social development in rural, mountainous and ethnic minority areas, period 2016 - 2025 in Dak Lak province, in order to grasp issues related to the results of project implementation, acceptance and application of research topics; coordination with competent agencies; implementation costs; recommendations and proposals of the host units... Thereby, the delegation will report and advise the Provincial People's Council to request the Provincial People's Committee to have solutions to remove obstacles and difficulties in scientific research work, implementing projects under the rural and mountainous program in the next phase.
