According to the report at the meeting of the Board of Directors of Da Nang Port Joint Stock Company at the end of July, in the first 6 months of 2025, Da Nang Port continued to maintain stable port operations. The volume of goods passing through the port grew positively compared to the same period last year, despite market fluctuations and complex weather conditions.
Total cargo throughput through the port in the first 6 months of 2025 increased by 10% compared to the same period in 2024; of which, container cargo increased by 12%; general cargo increased by 3.7%; wood chips alone increased by more than 200,000 tons. Total revenue in the first 6 months of 2025 increased by 13%; pre-tax profit increased by 21% compared to the same period in 2024.
General commodities such as textile materials, machinery and equipment, electronic components, food, agricultural products, etc. through Da Nang port all grew thanks to the recovery of export markets such as China, Europe, and the US as well as increased domestic consumption demand.
“The goal of Da Nang Port is to focus on completing the revenue and profit plan for the third quarter and the whole year of 2025. Continue to perfect the apparatus in a flexible direction, suitable for the process of digitalizing enterprises, improving capacity and efficiency in management and operation.
