Warning: Fake fanpages impersonating Tien Phong Marathon are appearing, aiming to scam people.

The Organizing Committee of the Tien Phong National Marathon and Long Distance Championship (Tien Phong Marathon) has issued an urgent warning about the appearance of fake fanpages on social media that are soliciting registrations and donations for fraudulent purposes.

According to reports, the fanpage named “Tien Phong Marathon – Running Together Towards Flood-Affected Areas” was created on November 3rd and subsequently continuously posted images and articles taken from the Tien Phong Marathon 2023 (Lai Chau), 2024 ( Phu Yen ), and 2025 (Quang Tri) races. On December 8th, this page posted an announcement calling on users to “register for the nationwide online race” to support people affected by floods.

The Organizing Committee affirms that this is a fraudulent activity and does not belong to the media system of the Tien Phong National Marathon and Long Distance Championship. Tien Phong Marathon uses only one official fanpage at the following address:

The Tien Phong Marathon is an annual race held at the end of March. In 2026, the race will take place in Khanh Hoa province; registration opens at 9:00 AM on December 10, 2026, on the single channel https://actiup.net/.

The Organizing Committee advises athletes and fans:

• Only get updates from the official channels of the tournament.

• Do not provide personal information, and do not transfer money to unfamiliar accounts.

• Absolutely do not disclose your card number, CVV/CVC code, or OTP code.

The Tien Phong Marathon Organizing Committee urges the community to be vigilant and share information to prevent fraudulent activities and protect the rights of athletes and race viewers.
