Police work with Mercedes driver who turned on hazard lights

(NLDO) - Mr. HTP drove a white-plate car but turned on the lights like the emergency lights.

On March 7, the District 3 team (Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police) worked and made an administrative violation record against Mr. HTP related to the information "Mercedes car with lights like emergency lights" posted on Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper.

Previously, on the morning of March 5, social networks spread a clip of a white-plate Mercedes car with red and green lights flashing continuously on Ly Chinh Thang Street, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3.

District 3's local team stepped in to determine that Mr. P. was the one driving the white-plate car on Ly Chinh Thang Street with the signal lights on like a fairy car.

Mr. P. admitted the violation and committed to removing the priority lighting equipment.

Mr. P. was fined 5 million VND and his priority light device was confiscated.
