Cao Loc successfully organized the 2023 Excellent Mediator Competition

– On August 14, Cao Loc District People's Committee organized the 4th Excellent Mediator Competition, 2023.

The Organizing Committee awarded souvenir flags to the teams participating in the competition.

The competition was attended by 22 teams from 22 communes and towns in the district. Each team consisted of 3 members, who were typical mediators in the village and residential group.

At the competition, the teams took turns going through 3 rounds: theory, situation handling and skit. In the theory round, the organizing committee divided the teams into 5 groups (each group had 4 to 5 teams) to answer 10 multiple choice questions about legal regulations on the organization and operation of grassroots mediation; legal documents currently in effect; knowledge about society, ethics, customs, good practices, village conventions, and conventions; skills to reconcile conflicts, disputes, and law violations within the scope of grassroots mediation...

In the skit competition, which lasts no more than 15 minutes, the teams must present skits with attractive content, elaborate staging, closely following the competition rules, and within the scope of mediation at the grassroots level.

At the end of the contest, the organizing committee awarded 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, 5 third prizes, 13 consolation prizes and 2 thematic prizes (the team with the best situation handling, the team with the best skit) to the participating teams. In which, the team from Tan Thanh commune won the first prize.

It is known that on August 14, Cao Loc and Trang Dinh districts were the last two districts to organize the district-level excellent mediator competition. From July 24, 2023 to now, 11/11 districts and cities have completed the district-level excellent mediator competition. Currently, districts and cities have formed competition teams, practiced, and prepared for the provincial excellent mediator competition, expected to be held at the end of August 2023.
