After 5 years of implementing the Project "Planting one billion trees in the 2021-2025 period", the whole country has planted more than 1.4 billion trees, reaching 143.9% of the Project's goals and tasks.

Implementing Decision No. 524/QD-TTg dated April 1, 2021 of the Prime Minister approving the Project "Planting one billion trees in the period of 2021-2025", over the past 5 years, ministries, localities, organizations and individuals in the whole society have actively organized and implemented it.

After 5 years, the whole country has planted more than 1.4 billion trees, reaching 143.9% of the project's goals and tasks, including 573.9 million scattered trees; 865.2 million trees planted in concentrated forests, equivalent to 429,125 hectares of forest./.
