Surpassing hundreds of candidates, Ha Vuong Quang Duc - class 9A, Nguyen Tat Thanh High School for the Gifted has excellently won the third prize in the contest "Learning about policies on science, technology and digital transformation of Lao Cai province in 2025". From his love of History to his desire to master technology, the journey of self-study and discovery has helped Quang Duc become a multi-talented student, both good at knowledge and understanding of society.

Winning Third Prize in the online contest "Learning about the Party and State's policies on developing Science , Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation in Lao Cai Province in 2025", Ha Vuong Quang Duc impressed as the youngest contestant to win a high prize. The contest is a modern knowledge playground, helping people, especially the young generation, improve their understanding and form basic digital skills to adapt to the digital environment.

The fact that a 9th grader like Quang Duc surpassed many older candidates shows that he has a spirit of learning and is interested in social issues. Previously, Quang Duc also won third prize in the online contest "Learning about the State, law and Resolution 66-NQ/TW dated April 30, 2025 of the Politburo on innovation in law-making and enforcement, meeting the requirements of national development in the new era".

This achievement is the result of persistent efforts. Right from primary school, Quang Duc was an excellent student, continuously winning many academic awards, demonstrating comprehensive capacity in many fields: High prizes in English competitions - essential skills in the integration era - along with Encouragement Prizes in Violympic Mathematics, Vietnamese at national level and Encouragement Prizes in Vietnamese at provincial level.

Although he won an award in the field of technology, Quang Duc's favorite subject is History. His passion for learning about the nation's glorious past helps him form a profound understanding of the country's development.

From understanding the tradition of building and defending the country, Quang Duc realized that, for Vietnam to continue to move forward, standing shoulder to shoulder with the great powers, promoting science, technology and implementing digital transformation is the inevitable path. It was that awareness that urged him to register for the contest as soon as he heard the information.

Quang Duc shared: When participating in this online contest, I had to spend a lot of time reading resolutions and documents on technology and innovation. At first, many terms were quite new, but the more I read, the more interesting I found them. I realized that these policies are not far away, but are present in everyday life such as online learning or using smart applications. The award was a big surprise and a motivation for me to continue to learn more.

Although he is a good student and often spends a lot of time researching big issues, Quang Duc always knows how to balance between studying and playing. Outside of school, his biggest passion is football. Duc often goes to the field with the ball, participating in tournaments with friends. The happy, refreshing moments on the field help him relieve stress, keep his mind relaxed so that studying becomes easier and more effective.

Quang Duc and class 9A won the second traditional football championship of Nguyen Tat Thanh High School for the Gifted.

Homeroom teacher Le Thi Huong commented: I feel very secure about Duc. He is intelligent, self-disciplined and always proactive in his studies. Duc is good at studying and playing sports. The awards he has won show that he not only has a solid grasp of knowledge but also has a deep understanding of society. Quang Duc is a shining example for his classmates to follow.

With his intelligence, versatility and progressive spirit, Ha Vuong Quang Duc has proven that today's young generation is not only good at book knowledge but also knows how to care about the country's major issues, worthy of being the future generation, contributing to building the homeland.
