On December 11, U19 Binh Dinh confirmed that they would not participate in the 2025 National U19 Championship. This information caused a stir among Binh Dinh football fans. The reason why the representative of Binh Dinh football withdrew from the tournament was due to the issue of force.

Mr. Luc Van Dung - Director of Binh Dinh Sports Training and Competition Center said that the U19 Binh Dinh province team has 22 athletes, of which 19 are studying in grade 12 at Nguyen Thai Hoc High School (Quy Nhon City), 1 student is in the continuing education center, 1 student is in university and 1 student is not going to school.

"Because the first leg of the tournament is held from December 22 to January 2, and the second leg is from January 4 to January 14, coinciding with the first semester exam period of the 2024-2025 school year, after discussion, we reported to the Vietnam Football Federation and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Dinh about not participating in this tournament," said Mr. Dung.
