During the FIFA Days training session in September, the Vietnamese team had two friendly matches to "warm up" before returning to the 2027 Asian Cup qualifying campaign in October.

The first "blue team" of the Vietnam team is Nam Dinh Blue Steel. This friendly match will be held at the VFF Youth Football Training Center, at 5:00 p.m. on September 4.

English striker Kyle Hudlin (2m06 tall) raised the score to 3-0 for Nam Dinh Blue Steel.

In the final minutes of the match, Dinh Son assisted Kelly Hublin to head the ball in, sealing a 4-0 victory for coach Vu Hong Viet's team. Despite the heavy loss, the Vietnamese team had a quality match to prepare for the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup.
