In the arms of love and sharing, the poor student boldly opened his heart about his difficult journey. Entering the new school year, while his peers were radiant with clean clothes, new school bags and new supplies, Bien was still quietly with old clothes, textbooks and school supplies borrowed from his seniors. Overcoming his inferiority complex, over the past 11 years, Bien has always maintained good academic results. He nurtured the dream of taking the entrance exam to Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport, majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

However, as the dream got closer, the family's situation became more difficult. My father, over 60 years old, was in poor health so he could only work as a rubber hut guard with a low income. My mother used to be a worker, but because of heart disease and a liver aneurysm, she had to quit her job. Now she can only sell a few packs of noodles and bottles of water to workers after work to earn some extra money. In a makeshift hut, built on the land of Farm 2 (Loc Ninh Rubber Company), my family lived through difficult days, lacking everything and at any moment, I was at risk of having to put aside my dream of going to university.

With the program's message being "Our love fuels your dreams", at the program, Bien received a total scholarship of 180 million 350 thousand VND. The organizers allocated 10 million 350 thousand VND to support his family with more capital to maintain a small grocery store, creating an additional source of income to cover living expenses. 170 million VND was deposited in a savings book for Bien to use for future study expenses.

“I am truly grateful to the program, the benefactors, teachers and friends. This scholarship not only helps me have more conditions to continue studying, but is also a great source of motivation for me to try harder. I hope that in the future, when I can take care of my parents, I will also come back to help friends in the same situation as me” - Bien emotionally shared.

The success of the Wings of Dreams program (122nd time) is not only in material value but also in the trust and aspirations given to students in difficult circumstances. More than ever, the program needs more sharing hands, not to leave poor students behind, on the journey to conquer knowledge and build a rich and humane homeland of Dong Nai.
