(Dan Tri) - The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force of Nam Tu Liem District Police has just controlled and extinguished a fire at a row of temporary sheds used to gather scrap in Trung Van Ward.
On the morning of December 10, speaking with Dan Tri reporter, the commander of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Nam Tu Liem District Police ( Hanoi City) said that at around 7:50 a.m. the same day, a fire broke out at a temporary shed used to collect scrap and garbage in lane 67, Phung Khoang Street, Trung Van Ward.

After receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Nam Tu Liem District Police dispatched 2 fire trucks and 14 officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire and search and rescue.
According to the police, at 8:10 a.m. the police had reached the fire site, but by this time the fire had spread to the temporary shelters and old wooden furniture (the fire area was about 100 square meters, of which the garbage collection area was about 50 square meters).

After that, the 114 Command Center dispatched 2 fire trucks from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Thanh Xuan District Police, a fire truck from Ha Dong District Police to coordinate with the fire fighting force of the An Lac apartment building to put out the fire.
"By 9:00 a.m. the same day, the fire was controlled and prevented from spreading to other areas. By 9:30 a.m. the fire was completely extinguished. Fortunately, there were no casualties. Property damage is being assessed," informed the commander of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Nam Tu Liem District Police.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
