House fire in alley in District 12, Ho Chi Minh City

(NLDO) - A fire broke out in a house in an alley in Hiep Thanh ward, district 12, causing many properties to be burned down.

On February 2, District 12 Police (HCMC) investigated the cause of the house fire in Hiep Thanh ward.

At more than 6 p.m. the same day, smoke and fire broke out from a house in an alley on Hiep Thanh 01 Street, Hiep Thanh Ward. At that time, there was no one inside the house.

Some neighbors later discovered the fire and shouted, and together they tried to put out the fire, but initial efforts were unsuccessful.

Because there were many flammable objects in the house, the fire flared up fiercely, the column of smoke rising high.

District 12 Fire Police mobilized officers and soldiers to count the scene. Police then broke down the door and used a water hose to put out the fire.

The fire destroyed a lot of property. The cause is under investigation by the authorities.
