The Commander of the Provincial Military Command inspected the Defense Command of Region 1 - Trieu Son

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the afternoon of July 9, a working delegation of the Provincial Military Command (CHQS) led by Colonel Vu Van Tung, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Commander, inspected and grasped the situation at the Defense Command of Area 1 - Trieu Son.

Officers of the Defense Command of Region 1 - Trieu Son welcomed the inspection delegation.

The Regional Defense Command 1 - Trieu Son is a newly established unit and will come into operation from July 1, 2025 according to the Decision of the Ministry of National Defense .

Immediately after its establishment, the Defense Command of Area 1 - Trieu Son quickly stabilized its staff and organization; ensured accommodation and living facilities; developed plans, documents, books, signs, equipment; arranged and managed weapons, technical equipment, and vehicles to meet the requirements of assigned tasks.

Colonel Vu Van Tung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command and the working delegation inspected the Defense Command of Area 1 - Trieu Son.

Through the on-site inspection and listening to the unit commander's report, the Commander of the Provincial Military Command acknowledged the efforts of the unit's Party Committee, commanders, officers and staff.

He requested the Party Committee and unit commanders to do a good job of preparing and successfully organizing the first Party Congress and activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Provincial Armed Forces' Traditional Day (August 24, 1945 - August 24, 2025).

At the same time, coordinate with superior agencies to complete and supplement a number of documents, books, and forms in accordance with regulations; focus on renovating barracks, consolidating technical facilities; grasp and strictly manage national defense land; strictly maintain combat readiness regime; organize dissemination for officers and employees to firmly grasp the functions and tasks of the unit. Coordinate closely with forces to grasp the local situation, promptly and effectively handle situations, and ensure political stability and local security.
