Since the beginning of July, the province has welcomed hundreds of students from Green Summer Soldiers' teams from universities, colleges, and secondary schools in and outside the province to carry out volunteer work. At this time, the armed forces and people in the province have joined forces to do mass mobilization work. With the cooperation of the two youth forces, the spirit of volunteering for the community has grown stronger, bringing great benefits to the localities where the volunteer soldiers are stationed.

In Dong Ken 2 Hamlet, Tan Thanh Commune, in recent days, the whole hamlet has been more bustling and bustling when more than 250 soldiers of Regiment 4, Division 5 and the Green Summer Volunteer Team of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology came to do mass mobilization work as well as carry out projects and summer volunteer work.

With a large force and a spirit of wholehearted service to the people, young soldiers and volunteers join hands to carry out many practical projects and tasks to help the locality beautify the landscape, upgrade rural roads, care for disadvantaged children, etc. Each force strives to help the Dong Ken countryside become more vibrant.

Sharing about the volunteer activities of the soldiers, Major Nguyen Minh Thap - Deputy Chief of Politics of Regiment 4, Division 5, said: In this summer's mass mobilization campaign, the Military Region's armed forces always want to accompany and contribute to the locality to carry out the movements "Military Region's armed forces join hands to build new rural areas", "Eliminate temporary houses, dilapidated houses", "leave no one behind",... Each soldier promotes the spirit of volunteering, trying to help the people. This is also an opportunity for soldiers to study, practice, and build good relationships with the people.

Vo Phi Yen - Commander of the Green Summer Team of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology, shared: In this year's Green Summer Campaign, the School's Youth Union successfully carried out projects and tasks, thereby promoting the strengths of foreign languages and information technology as well as the creative and dynamic spirit of volunteer students. During the time of operation in the locality, the school's Volunteer Team organized many classes and summer playgrounds for children to have a place to study and play. At the same time, the Volunteer Team continued to coordinate with soldiers of Regiment 4, Division 5 to carry out mass mobilization activities and support the locality.

According to statistics from the Provincial Youth Union, from the beginning of July until now, the whole province has received 735 volunteers from 17 schools inside and outside the province. The teams participating in the Green Summer Campaign have been implementing and carrying out 135 projects and tasks with a total value of mobilized resources of more than 800 million VND.

With the motto of action "Widespread - Safe - Effective - Sustainable" associated with the theme "Year of digital transformation (CDS) of the Union's activities", the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign in the province left its mark with many creative, practical, close-to-the-people, and for-the-people models. One of the highlights this year is the launch of the TNTN teams to support the operation of the 2-level local government model and provide online public services at the grassroots level. This is an activity associated with the national administrative reform and digital transformation policy.

At the Nhut Tao Commune Public Administration Service Center, the Volunteer Team operates regularly every Monday and Thursday with 5-6 members to support people in carrying out administrative procedures. On the remaining days, there are 1-2 members on duty at the Center. Most of the documents related to the judicial and civil status fields such as birth certificates, death certificates, authentication, marriage registration, etc. are enthusiastically supported by the members.

Secretary of the Youth Union of Nhut Tao Commune, Nguyen Thanh Hai, said that in addition to supporting in writing and checking documents, the Youth Union also helps the elderly to look up and restore their electronic identification accounts and enter documents online. Ms. Van Thi Ngoc Tuyet (30 years old), who came to register for marriage with her husband, said: "The Youth Union members gave very enthusiastic instructions. The procedures were quick, neat, and not as confusing as I thought."

Recently, in Duc Hoa commune, the Youth Union and staff of the Commune Public Administration Service Center organized working groups to go directly to the hamlets to support people in completing procedures to receive social pension benefits according to Decree No. 176/2025/ND-CP, dated June 30, 2025 of the Government . Three support points were arranged at the hamlet cultural houses, convenient for people to come and complete the procedures. From early morning, the Youth Union and staff of the Center were present to provide detailed instructions on the conditions for receiving benefits and support in filling out the application, especially for the lonely elderly.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Thuan, a member of Duc Hoa commune, said: "We chose Saturday to support to help people save time and effort. In just one day, we completed nearly 300 files." Ms. Nguyen Thi Phung (residing in Binh Tien 1 hamlet, Duc Hoa commune) shared: "I do not have a pension, so I received a subsidy of 500,000 VND/month, I am very happy! Thanks to the enthusiastic help of the members, I feel warmer and more secure."

This year’s TNTN Summer Campaign is also an opportunity for Tay Ninh youth to demonstrate their pioneering role in the industrialization and modernization process. With a pioneering and creative spirit, the youth not only bring practical benefits to the people but also spread humanistic values, closely connecting the government and the people.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Pham Van Hau said: “This year's campaign focuses on 1 program and 4 campaigns associated with each group of participants. In particular, activities such as popularizing digital education, supporting VNeID installation, building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, etc. are widely and effectively deployed”. In particular, implementing the policy of "3 links" (linking forces, localities, and communities) and supporting digital capacity building for youth and people is a strategic step, contributing to the success of the province's socio-economic development task in 2025.
