Delegate Hoang Van Cuong ( Hanoi City) answered VNA reporter.

Talking on the sidelines of the National Assembly on October 27, delegates said that Vietnam's economy still maintains its growth momentum in the context of a complex and volatile world economy.

Delegate Hoang Van Cuong (Hanoi City) assessed that in 2025, the world economy will be very complicated and volatile, with significant impacts and influences on Vietnam's economy. Despite being affected by many negative impacts from external fluctuations, the Vietnamese Government has made efforts and proactively introduced many effective response solutions to bring basic stability to the national economy, especially in the field of goods export.

Specifically: While the new tax policy of the US Government has not yet taken effect, the Vietnamese Government has proactively directed corporations and businesses to take advantage of this short period of time to accelerate the export of goods in large volumes. Therefore, Vietnam's export results in the first 3 quarters of 2025 increased sharply. This demonstrates Vietnam's proactiveness and flexibility in taking advantage of opportunities to respond to barriers in the trade process.

In addition, the Vietnamese Government has also proactively diversified export markets, proactively developed plans and is ready to approach the world market. Thanks to this initiative, Vietnam has maintained its growth rate as planned. This is also a very commendable effort of the Government. At the same time, it is also an important driving force for economic development.

According to the delegate, in addition to being proactive, flexible, and ready to respond to the above difficulties, the Government has also made efforts to promote the disbursement of public investment capital. Up to now, the amount of public investment capital disbursed in Vietnam is higher than in 2024 at the same time. These disbursement results have made an important contribution to the country's growth. A number of completed public investment projects such as projects related to the connecting traffic system and infrastructure serving social business activities have also begun to promote and create momentum for the country's economic development.

In addition, the recovery of the service sector, especially the tourism industry, has recovered very quickly, attracting a large number of international tourists. The domestic consumption sector has not fully recovered as before the Covid-19 pandemic, but the tourism industry has compensated for its strength and has created a relatively good domestic trade balance... Although the agricultural sector has been affected by natural disasters, we have still maintained a relatively good growth rate, especially for strategic items for Vietnam's agricultural export sector. Thanks to that, it has created an important driving force for the development of the national economy.

Delegate Hoang Van Cuong emphasized that we still have many other potential factors that are contributing to creating a driving force for strong economic development, such as the private economic sector. The number of private enterprises is increasing very strongly in the third quarter of 2025. This shows that the policy of attaching importance to private economic development in Resolution No. 68 issued by the Politburo on May 4, 2025 is starting to take effect and is spreading, creating potential for economic development not only this year but will also create strong growth momentum in the coming years.

Delegate Tran Hoang Ngan (Ho Chi Minh City) answered VNA reporters.

According to delegate Tran Hoang Ngan (Ho Chi Minh City), in the recent period, the Government has made efforts to implement solutions to overcome difficulties, develop the socio-economy, stabilize the macro-economy and care for people's lives. The policy of removing obstacles and developing the social housing fund that the Government is promoting is one of the clearest evidences in the field of caring for people's lives. In 2024 and 2025, the Government has made continuous efforts to make many recommendations and submissions to the National Assembly to issue resolutions to resolve bottlenecks and clear projects, including social housing construction projects that have been stalled for many years and up to now, this issue is having positive changes, partly meeting the expectations of the people.
