To proactively respond to the developments of the storm near the East Sea (Kalmaegi storm), limit damage caused by bad weather and ensure production plans, the Department of Agriculture and Environment requests the People's Committees of coastal localities in the province to closely monitor warning bulletins and forecast the developments of the storm; notify captains and owners of vehicles and boats operating at sea to proactively prevent and have appropriate production plans, ensuring safety of people and property; maintain communication to promptly handle bad situations that may occur. In addition, propagate and request aquaculture households to urgently harvest farmed products when they reach commercial size; encourage aquaculture households to harvest early when they are close to commercial size; should not release new breeds when the weather is unfavorable for aquaculture; fully prepare raw materials, fuels, materials, machinery and equipment to serve the work of preventing, avoiding and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters. Localities need to coordinate with the Border Guard force, the Department of Fisheries and Islands to count the number of aquaculture cages, proactively deploy response measures, guide the movement and reinforcement of cages and rafts to ensure safety to limit damage to aquaculture activities; ensure absolute safety for workers on cages and rafts and aquaculture facilities, organize the relocation of workers and vehicles to safe shelters when necessary; prepare forces and vehicles to deploy rescue work when required...
