Transfer the department of issuing identification cards and electronic identification to the police of central wards and towns

Accordingly, from April 8, 2025, Quang Tri Provincial Police will transfer the electronic identification and identification issuance unit from the one-stop-shop unit of the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to the central ward police and affiliated town police. Specifically, the commune-level police units that receive electronic identification and identification documents include: Ward 1 Police, Dong Ha City; Ward 2 Police, Quang Tri Town; Ho Xa Town Police, Vinh Linh District; Khe Sanh Town Police, Huong Hoa District; Gio Linh Town Police, Gio Linh District; Krong Klang Town Police, Dakrong District; Cam Lo Town Police, Cam Lo District; Dien Sanh Town Police, Hai Lang District.

Previously, implementing the policy of streamlining the local police apparatus, on March 28, 2025, Quang Tri Provincial Police sent an official dispatch to the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities requesting continued coordination in arranging locations to receive ID documents at the one-stop department.
