Stocks "boiling", many codes create new peaks

A series of stocks of securities companies increased with large amplitude, even reaching the ceiling, showing that buying money is excited about this industry group, especially on the day of the 25th anniversary of the Vietnamese stock market.

The trading session on July 28, 2025 witnessed a series of securities stocks increasing strongly in price, many codes increased to the ceiling price with overwhelming buying power and set new historical peaks.  

At the end of the trading session, VN-Index set a new peak when it increased by 26.29 points to 1,557.42 points, creating a new historical peak.

Financial stocks continued to be the driving force of the index with a series of securities stocks hitting the ceiling. Positive sentiment spread across the market, cash flow was no longer focused mainly on large-cap stocks but also spread to small and medium-cap stocks.

Leading stock SSI surged 5.44% during the session, raising its share price from VND 34,800/share to VND 35,850/share and becoming one of the top 10 stocks driving the index up, contributing 0.85 points to the VN-Index increase.

On the HoSE, VIX shares of VIX Securities Corporation continued to have a ceiling price increase of 6.86%, bringing the closing price to VND25,700/share. VIX has increased for 10 consecutive sessions, including 5 ceiling price increases. Since the beginning of July, this stock has increased by 99.2%. This is also the period when VIX continuously created new price peaks.  

Following the ceiling price increase last weekend, VND shares of VNDirect Securities Corporation also broke the peak when they had another purple session on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the official operation of the stock market.

At the end of the session on July 28, VND increased to 22,600 VND/share, this is the highest price that VND has achieved in the past 3 years (from May 2022 to present).  

In addition, ORS of Tien Phong Securities Corporation also recorded a ceiling price increase today, bringing the stock back to the price range at the end of March, before this securities company encountered an incident related to bonds. Or DSC shares of DSC Securities Corporation also just increased by 6.94% to the ceiling price of 18,500 VND/share.

A series of securities stocks increased sharply in the trading session on July 28, 2025.

On the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), Saigon - Hanoi Securities JSC's SHS shares have been increasing continuously since the beginning of July. Compared to the beginning of the month, SHS has increased by 65% ​​after hitting the ceiling price of nearly 10% today.  

It has been a long time since SHS returned to the price range above 20,000 VND/share. The last time SHS was at this price range was in early March 2022, so, similar to VND, SHS has just created a new price range after more than 3 years.  

MBS's price increased even more strongly, increasing by 10% to 35,200 VND per share, officially surpassing its all-time peak and creating a new price peak.  

A series of securities company stocks on the HNX floor increased in price, such as: VIG (+10%), APS (+9.09%), BVS (+9.11%), PSI (+9.76%), WSS (+9.59%), HBS (+9.59%).  

Positive cash flow spread to UPCoM with SBS (+13.6%), BMS (+10.7%), PHS (+15%).
