On June 18th, Novaland Group's NVL stock continued to rise to 15,600 VND per unit, marking its fifth consecutive day of gains. This price is the highest in over a year and nearly double the price achieved in the last two months.
The stock's upward trend continues amidst progress in resolving legal obstacles in many projects. Most recently, the Aqua City project in Dong Nai received approval for a partial adjustment to the detailed construction planning at a scale of 1/500 for its component projects, including the Aqua City urban area and the Aqua Waterfront City urban area.
Simultaneously, the dossier for adjusting the 1/500 detailed planning of the high-end commercial and service urban area of Phuoc Hung Island in Tam Phuoc Ward, Bien Hoa City (Phoenix subdivision) was officially approved by a decision of the Bien Hoa City People's Committee.

With these decisions, the entire legal framework of the Aqua City project has been completed in accordance with regulations, ensuring consistency between the C4 zoning plan at a scale of 1/5,000 and the Bien Hoa City master plan at a scale of 1/10,000 (approved in November 2024). From here, the Aqua City project is facilitated to continue its implementation.
In other developments, within the VN30 group, STB ( Sacombank ) shares saw the strongest increase, rising 2.61% to 47,200 VND per unit. Trading volume for this stock reached nearly 12.9 million shares. The positive performance of STB also strongly influenced the index.
Regarding Sacombank, Ms. Nguyen Duc Thach Diem has resigned as a member of the Board of Directors after stepping down from her position as General Director. The Board of Directors also decided to authorize the Chairman of the Board to allocate funds from the bank's reward fund to reward Ms. Diem, recognizing her contributions during her time as General Director.
Following STB, the positive performance of several other stocks in the VN30 group such as VHM, TCB, HPG, ACB, and VIC also contributed positively to the overall index.
Conversely, FPT, with a 1.52% decrease, was the stock with the most negative impact on the market today. This stock also saw the strongest net selling by foreign investors, with a value exceeding 153 billion VND. Following FPT's decline were VPB, LPB, MWG, and EIB.
At the close of trading, the VN30 group maintained its positive momentum, pulling the VN-Index close to the reference level. The VN-Index decreased by 0.86 points to 1,346.83 points. Some stocks on the HoSE exchange bucked the market trend, maintaining their gains until the end of the session, such as BCG, FCM, LGL, LDG, and TCD.
