The advisory and support agency of the City Party Committee organized activities to review historical traditions in An Lao district.

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the occasion of the Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the City Party Committee's advisory and support agencies, on the morning of October 12, members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee: Dang Ba Cuong, Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; Nguyen Dinh Chuyen, Chairman of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Dao Khanh Ha, Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Le Tri Vu, Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Department, together with cadres, civil servants and employees of the City Party Committee's advisory and support agencies, organized a program to return to the source and visit the Nui Voi Historical Site in An Lao District, a place associated with many historical events in the two resistance wars against the French and the Americans.

The delegation offered incense at the Temple of Female General Le Chan in An Lao district.

The delegation came to offer incense at the Temple of General Le Chan located at the foot of Voi mountain range. The members of the delegation respectfully expressed their gratitude for the great contributions of General Le Chan, who fought the enemy and achieved many victories and was the founder of the ancient An Bien village, laying the foundation for today's Hai Phong city. The Temple of General Le Chan has an area of over 4,000 m2, with a T-shaped structure consisting of five front rooms and one back room. This is a place to worship and commemorate her merits, an attractive destination for sightseeing, research, experience and tourism for local people and tourists from all over the world.

Visit the City Party Committee Cave, where the 2nd City Party Congress was held, term 1968-1971. This was the period of fighting against the destructive war of American imperialism, the life of the city's people faced many difficulties, the Congress elected the Executive Committee, alternate members and the Standing Committee.

The delegation also visited the city’s No. 1 rear base at the Elephant Mountain Historical Site. In 2011, the Prime Minister approved this area as being of special importance in the defense of the Fatherland.
