Lang Son police arrested 4 subjects with 1 heroin cake and more than 2,000 drug pills

On October 24, the Investigation Police Agency of Lang Son Province Police announced that it had just successfully fought and destroyed a major drug case, arresting and prosecuting four subjects for illegal drug trafficking and transportation.

Previously, at 11:00 a.m. on October 14, at Nguyen Du Street, Dong Kinh Ward, Lang Son Province, the Working Group of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department coordinated with professional departments of Lang Son Provincial Police and the Department of Crime Prevention and Investigation in Legal Activities Related to Drugs (Drug Crime Investigation Police Department - Ministry of Public Security ) to discover and arrest Le Van Hai (born in 1970, residing in Block 9, Dong Kinh Ward) and Nguyen Van Hung (born in 1956, residing in Lane 1, Nguyen Du Street, Dong Kinh Ward) in the act of illegally transporting drugs.

The seized evidence included 1 heroin cake, 10 plastic bags containing 2,191 pink tablets and 20 blue tablets, which were determined to be synthetic drugs.

Nguyen Van Hung was arrested by the police for illegally transporting drugs.

Expanding the investigation, on the same day, the Investigation Police Agency of Lang Son Provincial Police issued an order to detain Nguyen Thi Dao (born in 1967, residing in Muoi Street, Tam Thanh Ward, Lang Son Province) and Phung Ngoc Bich (born in 1969, residing in Nguyen Trung Truc Street, Hoa Binh Ward, Phu Tho Province) in an emergency for the act of illegally buying and selling drugs.

Searching Phung Ngoc Bich's residence, the investigation agency seized many types of drugs, including: 171 Methamphetamine pills (16.685 grams), 19 MDMA pills (10.831 grams), 43.841 grams of ketamine and 9.927 grams of crystal Methamphetamine.

Through the investigation, it was clarified that the four subjects were involved in an inter-provincial drug trafficking and transportation ring led by Nguyen Thi Dao. Dao directly directed Hai and Hung to conduct transactions and transport drugs for Bich to consume.

Nguyen Thi Dao was identified as the leader of an inter-provincial drug trafficking and transportation ring.

On October 23, the Investigation Police Agency issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused and temporarily detain the above 4 subjects for investigation, and continue to consolidate the case file and handle it according to the provisions of law.
