An Giang Provincial Police prevented a group of young men from preparing to fight.

On September 2, To Chau Ward Police (An Giang Province) said they had successfully stopped a group of young men preparing to fight in the ward.

Accordingly, at about 8:53 p.m. on September 1, on several streets in To Chau ward, the authorities discovered a group of young people showing signs of gathering, preparing to fight, causing chaos on the streets, affecting security and order.

Upon receiving the news, the Traffic Police Department, An Giang Provincial Police coordinated with the Criminal Police Department and To Chau Ward Police to urgently deploy forces to suppress and prevent the disturbance, arresting the group of subjects while they were traveling in many 4-seat and 7-seat cars, with a number of nearly 50 people.

All subjects were promptly detected, stopped and arrested by the police when they arrived at To Chau ward.

The subjects confessed to living in Nui Sam ward and Chau Doc ward. Due to a previous conflict with a group of young people in Ha Tien ward, they moved to Ha Tien ward to resolve the conflict. However, when they arrived at To Chau ward, the entire group was promptly arrested by the police.

The entire group of young people involved have been taken to the police station. The case is being further investigated, clarified and strictly handled by the An Giang Provincial Police according to the law.
