Announcing decisions in implementing Resolution 18

On February 18, Son La Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce decisions on ending operations; establishing and merging agencies and party organizations under the Provincial Party Committee in the spirit of implementing Resolution 18 of the Central Committee.

Accordingly, the decision of the Provincial Party Executive Committee is announced on:

End of activities of party delegations and party executive committees under the Provincial Party Committee: Party delegation of the Provincial People's Council, Party delegation of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Party delegation of the Provincial Labor Federation, Party delegation of the Provincial Women's Union, Party delegation of the Provincial Farmers' Association, Party delegation of the Provincial Veterans' Association, Party delegation of the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations, Party executive committee of the Provincial People's Committee, Party executive committee of the Provincial People's Court, Party executive committee of the Provincial People's Procuracy.

Ending the activities of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc and transferring the Party organization and Party members from the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc to the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies, the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, and the Son La City Party Committee; with 86 grassroots Party organizations.

Establishing the Party Committees of the Provincial Party Agencies. The Party Committees of the Provincial Party Agencies include grassroots Party organizations in specialized advisory and support agencies, public service units of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Court, the Provincial People's Procuracy, the Provincial Fatherland Front, provincial socio -political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State to perform provincial tasks; with 24 grassroots Party organizations (7 grassroots Party Committees, 17 grassroots Party cells).

In addition, the decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing 20 comrades as members of the Party Executive Committee of provincial Party agencies for the 2020-2025 term was announced; appointing 9 comrades as members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of provincial Party agencies for the 2020-2025 term; appointing Mr. Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of provincial Party agencies.

Appoint 3 comrades as members of the Party Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; appoint Mr. Le Tien Quan as Chairman of the Party Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Transfer the Party Committee of Tay Bac University and 357 party members from being directly under the Provincial Party Committee to being directly under the Party Committees of Provincial Party agencies.

The establishment of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee includes grassroots party organizations in specialized agencies, public service units under the Provincial People's Committee, a number of enterprises, agencies and central units located in the locality; with 48 grassroots party organizations (30 grassroots party committees, 18 grassroots party cells).

Appoint 15 comrades as members of the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2020-2025 term; appoint 9 comrades as members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2020-2025 term; appoint Mr. Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee.

Appoint 3 comrades as members of the Provincial People's Committee's Party Inspection Committee for the 2020-2025 term; appoint Ms. Mui Thi Hien to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee's Party Inspection Committee.

Merge the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department. Assign Ms. Dinh Thi Bich Thao to hold the position of Head of the Department.

Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh, Secretary of Son La Provincial Party Committee, emphasized: The Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of Son La Provincial Party Committee have regularly led and directed the good implementation of propaganda, dissemination and implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW and the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws.

During the process of propagating Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee also thoroughly grasped and implemented regulations on organizational structure, staff, payroll, regimes and policies; directed the organization and implementation to ensure scientificity and suitability with the reality of Son La province.

The implementation of the Resolution has ensured the Party's leadership principles, the State's management effectiveness, promoted the role of the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and the people's mastery.

Up to now, the arrangement of the apparatus in Son La province has basically been ensured according to the Central's schedule, which is an important basis for successfully organizing Party Congresses at all levels, successfully implementing the province's political goals and well preparing all conditions to enter a new development stage.

At the Conference, the Provincial Party Standing Committee announced the decision to reward 24 exemplary party members in implementing the Central's policies and the Provincial Party Executive Committee's Project on reorganizing the apparatus of the political system.
