Announcement of the decision to appoint Deputy Director of the Provincial Customs Department

On the morning of June 2, at the Provincial Customs Department, the General Department of Customs held a ceremony to announce the decision to appoint the Deputy Director of the Cao Bang Customs Department. Attending were comrades: Trieu Dinh Le, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Luu Manh Tuong, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Customs; leaders of departments and bureaus under the General Department of Customs, the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board, and the Provincial Department of Home Affairs.

Deputy Director General of the General Department of Customs Luu Manh Tuong presented the decision and congratulated the two new Deputy Directors of the Provincial Customs Department.

At the ceremony, the representative of the Department of Organization and Personnel, General Department of Customs announced Decision No. 1198/QD-TCHQ, dated May 30, 2023 of the General Department of Customs on the appointment of comrade Nguyen The Bang, Head of the Professional Department of the Provincial Customs Department to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Provincial Customs Department from May 30, 2023; Decision No. 1199/QD-TCHQ, dated May 30, 2023 of the General Department of Customs on the appointment of comrade Ma Thanh Giang, Director of the Border Gate Customs Sub-Department. Tra Linh holds the position of Deputy Director of the Provincial Customs Department from May 30, 2023.

In his speech assigning tasks, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Customs Luu Manh Tuong congratulated and highly appreciated the contributions of comrades Nguyen The Bang and Ma Thanh Giang to the development of the customs sector over the past many years. They have held many different positions and always excellently completed their assigned tasks.

It is recommended that in their new positions, the two new Deputy Directors continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, do a good job in state management of customs, quickly approach and grasp the work, concretize the work programs and tasks of the General Department of Customs and the socio-economic development tasks of the locality; strengthen working relationships with the locality; create favorable conditions for businesses to continue to promote their experience, and act as a bridge to coordinate with departments and bureaus under the General Department of Customs. Continuously study to improve qualifications, political capacity, and solidarity, together with the collective of the Provincial Customs Department, and lead the unit to excellently complete political tasks.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Trieu Dinh Le congratulated the two new Deputy Directors of the Provincial Customs Department.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Trieu Dinh Le congratulated and acknowledged the contributions of the two comrades and the collective of provincial customs officers to the socio -economic development of the province in recent years. At the same time, he emphasized: the provincial customs sector needs to be more determined and resolute in fulfilling its pioneering task in developing foreign economic relations, import and export, effectively implementing solutions to nurture and call for revenue sources, contributing to increasing the local budget revenue. Coordinate with relevant sectors to advise the province on appropriate mechanisms to promote and maximize the advantages of border gate economy, build a civilized, modern, internationally integrated provincial customs sector, and successfully complete its tasks.

Receiving the direction of the provincial leaders and the General Department of Customs, comrade Ma Thanh Giang, Deputy Director of the Provincial Customs Department, promised to continuously improve his professional qualifications and ethics, uphold the spirit of self-criticism and criticism; lead and direct the collective of provincial customs officers to excellently complete all assigned tasks.
