During the Prenn Pass closure period, vehicles going up and down to Da Lat will travel via Mimosa Pass (parallel to Prenn Pass), Sacom Tuyen Lam Pass or Ta Nung Pass in the direction of the old Lam Ha district.

Announcing emergency situation of Prenn Pass landslide in Da Lat -0 — The landslide on Prenn Pass in Da Lat left many large cracks on the road surface.

The new Prenn Pass in Da Lat has been renovated, upgraded and put into use on the entire route on the occasion of Tet 2024. The project started in February 2023 with a total investment of about 553 billion VND, invested by the Lam Dong Provincial Traffic Project Management Board. The construction unit is a joint venture of Deo Ca Construction Joint Stock Company - Deo Ca Traffic Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company.

This project is warranted for 12 months, from December 17, 2024 to December 17, 2025. Thus, the landslide location on Prenn Pass still has 1 month of warranty left.

Previously, as reported by CAND Newspaper, on the morning of November 17, a landslide suddenly occurred at the above location. Part of the roadbed and the surface of Prenn Da Lat Pass was swept down to the negative slope. The road surface at this location also had many large cracks, encroaching on nearly half of the road in the direction from Da Lat down, causing traffic safety problems.
