On August 19, Vietjet Air officially started construction of the Aircraft Maintenance Technical Center at Long Thanh International Airport.

This is one of 80 exemplary construction and inauguration projects celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2nd, 1945 – September 2nd, 2025), and also marks an important step in the development of Vietjet and the Vietnamese aviation industry.

The groundbreaking ceremony took place solemnly in the presence of General Secretary To Lam, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, along with leaders of the Party and State, ministries, departments, localities, and domestic and international partners.

With a total investment of nearly US$100 million (over VND 1,700 billion), the project includes hangars No. 3 and No. 4 at Long Thanh, capable of simultaneously maintaining 10 aircraft with synchronized technical infrastructure meeting international standards. The center will not only serve Vietjet's growing fleet maintenance needs but also aim to provide technical services to domestic and international airlines, contributing to enhancing the aviation industry's capacity and meeting the operational requirements of Long Thanh Airport – Vietnam's most modern international airport.
