Reportedly, the Hotline team consists of 7 highly skilled and disciplined workers selected by Ninh Thuan Power Company (PC Ninh Thuan) to operate specialized vehicles newly imported from abroad to Ninh Thuan; they were trained in professional and systematic methods of repairing 22 kV power lines via hotline. Through the training process, PC Ninh Thuan organized the Hotline team to confidently take practical skills tests on live power lines without cutting off the power and issued certificates of completion to the workers.
PC Ninh Thuan workers replaced hotline insulators without interrupting the power supply.
By applying this live-line repair technology, PC Ninh Thuan will be able to safely construct and repair power lines, substations, and equipment on the grid without interrupting or cutting off power; at the same time, it will contribute to improving the quality of electricity supply, serving customers better and better; minimizing the average power outage time (saidi index) and minimizing the average number of power outages (saifi index).
