GREENWOOD Company Limited was fined 140 million VND in the field of environmental protection.

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 2045/QD-XPHC dated October 15 on administrative sanctions in the field of environmental protection against GREENWOOD Company Limited (located at Lot E, Bach Hac Industrial Park, Bach Hac Ward, Viet Tri City) with the amount of 140 million VND.

GREENWOOD Company Limited is located at Lot E, Bach Hac Industrial Park, Bach Hac Ward, Viet Tri City.

Accordingly, GREENWOOD Company Limited did not conduct a trial operation of waste treatment facilities as prescribed. The above act violated the provisions of Point d, Clause 2, Article 12 of Decree No. 45/2022/ND-CP dated July 7, 2022 of the Government on administrative sanctions for violations in the field of environmental protection.

The penalty decision requires GREENWOOD Company Limited to pay the full amount of the fine to the Provincial State Treasury within 10 days from the date of receiving the penalty decision. If not complied, it will be enforced.
